To ensure transparent, timely, and accessible communication of all upcoming changes to fees, procedures, and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) by Taraba State Business Enabling Environment (BEE) MDAs. This promotes a stable and predictable business climate and fosters public trust.

Applies to all MDAs under the Business Enabling Environment portfolio in Taraba State that regulate or administer business-facing fees, SLAs, or procedures.

  • Upcoming Changes: Adjustments or introductions of fees, procedures, or SLAs.
  • Verification Protocols: Standards for ensuring the change was effectively communicated.

๐Ÿ“ก Communication Channels & Requirements

  • Official Website: Dedicated regulatory updates section. Clear language. 60-day notice required.
  • Official Gazette: Legally enforceable publications. Published concurrently or before website update.
  • Local Newspapers: Summary of changes in two widely circulated papers (English & Hausa). Minimum 45-day notice.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Required for economically significant changes. Workshops and online feedback required. Publish a summary of inputs.

  • Heads of MDAs: Ensure full adherence.
  • Communication Officers: Coordinate internal and external communication efforts.
  • Ministry of Information/ICT: Maintain the regulatory portal.
  • Office of the SSG: Oversee compliance and execution.

  • Periodic audits conducted by the SSG Office or an independent body.
  • Businesses can submit complaints via a feedback mechanism (GRM).
